Digital printing is the process in which printed output is generated on demand by an output device. Large format printing generally refers to output larger than tabloid sizes, or about 11×17. At PC Signs, large format usually means 22×28 inches to billboard sizes.
Large format digital printing can be used whenever traditional printing techniques is cost prohibitive because of quantity or unnecessary extreme quality. Some applications are posters, displays, signage, point-of-purchase displays, banners, fleet graphics, murals, billboards, custom fabric, wallpaper…etc.
You can use our online order form and complete your details, then upload the file with your design artwork to our site.
Process color is a term used to describe full color printing. Also known as full color or four color, the term is derived from a shortened ‘four color process’, meaning a printing process that involves four colors of ink; Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (also known as CMYK). These four colors, when printed as dots in the right combination, create the illusion of a full color image.
Spot color refers to printing a single color, for example red, green, blue, etc. It is a pure, single ink color rather than a ‘process’ color. Spot colors are usually designated with a Pantone matching number, derived from the industry standard Pantone Matching System (PMS). These are created from percentages of process colors for digital printing purposes.

A 6 color CMYK +LC +LM or 4 color CMYK do not match SWOP inks exactly, so output is not identical to what comes from offset printing. Pantone color matches are not guaranteed, but the color range NDS can reproduce is within 95% of the CMYK Pantone standards.
Depending on the substrate used and extreme environmental conditions, NDS output can last indefinitely under indoor conditions. Outdoor applications, such as billboards and banners, can last several years, depending on finishing options like overlaminates.
